The Peace River is 67 miles long, starting south of Bartow and ending in Charlotte Harbor. In Hardee County, there are many places that a person can see the river and just as many places to put your canoe in for a nice slow ride down the Peace River..

The types of wildlife that can be seen down the Peace River are many. Anything from Kingfishers to the infamous Florida Alligator. They are all beautiful, but please remember,
DO NOT FEED THE WILD ANIMALS.
