Mission Statement
It is the mission of the Hardee County Building Department to protect the life, health, safety and property of county residents and visitors. We strive to accomplish this through the careful examination of permit applications, building plans and by carefully inspecting completed work to insure it is in compliance with the requirements of the Florida Building Code, National Electric Code, Florida Fire Prevention Code, Department of Environmental Protection, Southwest Florida Water Management District, Florida Administrative Code and Statutes.
