The Human Resources Department consists of three full time employees whose responsibilities are to ensure the employees of the Hardee County Board of County Commissioners are employed in a fair and safe working environment. In addition, the Human Resources Department assures all disciplinary matters, employment and other labor issues are properly handled in accordance with the Hardee County Rules and Regulations, Union Contracts, and with State and Federal Law.
The Human Resources Department is also responsible for the investigation and processing of all insurance claims. Ie: Worker's Compensation, Automobile, Property and Liability related claims.
The Human Resources Department is also responsible for the planning, coordinating and directing of the annual Pioneer Park Days festival. Our mission is to provide low cost family entertainment for the citizens of Hardee County and surrounding areas and to net revenue for improvements within the Parks currently owned by the Hardee County Board of County Commissioners for the enjoyment of the public.
Work is performed under the direction of the Director of Community Development and General Services.
